Hey BeYOUtiful!
Can I just say that I have missed you? Like, for real. It feels like forever since we’ve had one of our BeYOUtiful Boutiques chats, and I have so much to tell you.
So, where have I been? Living. Breathing. Resetting. Taking the kind of pause that, honestly, I didn’t even realize I needed. And let me tell you that it has been a journey.
Rest, Reset, and a Whole Lot of Tea Time
When I closed my brick-and-mortar store, I thought i’d just take a short break and bounce right back. But life had other plans. The past few months have been all about slowing down and leaning into the things that truly bring me joy. Tea time with friends has become a whole vibe just sitting, talking, actually listening. No rush, no distractions, just being present.
I’ve been journaling more, getting all my thoughts, dreams, and little whispers from God onto paper. (If you’ve ever felt like your mind is running a marathon, trust me-journaling helps slow it down.) And I’ve even been dabbling in some small health hacks to get my mind and body feeling good again. I’m pretty sure that ginger, garlic and cinnamon are now a part of daily living.
Making Home Feel Like Home
One thing I didn’t expect? How much joy I’d find in creating a space that feels like me. I’ve been surrounding myself with all the little things that make me happy like trinkets from special people, artwork that speaks to my soul, and gifts that remind me of the love around me.
Oh, and cabinetry? Yeah, it’s kind of my thing now. Who knew?! I went from styling closets to literally building them. Personalized shoe drawers, custom shelving-the works. (And listen, if you need a quote, just message me. I’m just saying!)
Reconnecting with Purpose & People
Through it all, one thing became so clear: I love what I do. Helping women step into their confidence, supporting our community, engaging in REAL conversation and being part of something bigger than just retail is what fills me up. It has always been RELATIONSHIP through retail. And I’ve missed it. I’ve missed you.
But you know what else I’ve realized? Relationships require intention. 2024 has been a doozy for so many of us. Life has been lifing, and in the midst of it, it's easy to lose touch. But we need each other.
Here’s a little challenge for you (and me!):
This month, let’s take the time to reach out. Send a special text, make a phone call, drop off a small gift-something to remind the people in our lives that they matter. Because sometimes, the answers we’re searching for are sitting right beside us. We just have to start the conversation.
What’s Next?
Now that I’m back, live sales are coming soon (if my country Wi-Fi cooperates), and I can’t wait to show you what’s next. New collections, fresh styling, more of what you love and more meaningful connections.
But for now, tell me how have you been? Drop a comment, send a message, or just reply to this post. Let’s catch up.
With so much love,
Ki
